Hook

Start where people are. Make them feel seen before you ask anything of them. One sentence that stops the scroll.

Heart

Share the why. What's the meaning behind this? What does this have to do with real life? Point people toward Jesus without preaching at them.

Help

Give them what they need to know. When, where, what, why it matters. Keep it short. Make it easy to act on.

Invitation

Guide, never pressure. "We'd love to have you" not "You need to be there." Always end with a clear, warm next step.

The rules that make us
recognizable.

Every piece we produce lives inside these standards. Colors, fonts,
voice, and feel are not preferences. They are the system.

Color System

Three primary colors do all the work. Everything else supports. When in doubt, use less color.

Typography

Two fonts. One voice. Proxima Nova leads everywhere. Proxima Sera is the quiet exception.

Voice Guide

How we sound in every format. Four tone anchors. One consistent character.
  • Caregiver— Gentle, inviting, safe. Never harsh.
  • Innocent— Hopeful, light, faith-filled. Never preachy.
  • Everyman— Relatable, simple, grounded. Never distant.
  • Devoted Maker— Thoughtful, intentional, excellent

  • Overly preachy or corrective tone
  • Guilt-driven statements or pressure language
  • Corporate or marketing-heavy phrasing
  • Insider church language without context
  • Em dashes in any written copy
  • Long unbroken paragraphs
Specific words and patterns we use intentionally, and ones we replace on principle.
  • Say "We believe" not "We hope to"
  • Say "We invite you to" not "You need to"
  • Say "Join us" not "You should come"
  • Say "We are" not "We'll try to be"
  • Short sentences. Natural rhythm.
  • Always lead to a clear next step.
Photos and visuals that feel like a Sunday morning. Real people. Real moments. No staged perfection.
